Principal duties with the College of Medicine are to help develop, coordinate and teach an integrated curriculum in pharmacology; and to direct the Admissions process for the M.D. program.

Dr. Patrick specializes in Pharmacology and has 45 years of teaching experience in health professions schools at Virginia Commonwealth University/Medical College of Virginia and at Florida State University. He has taught medical students for over 40 years and has participated in teaching reviews for National Boards for medical students and in review courses for residents. For the past 40 years he has directed pharmacology courses for students of dentistry, pharmacy, and medicine, and has participated in major curricular revisions and accreditation self-studies in those schools.
