Dr. Chicola coordinates the surgery curriculum and training of third- and fourth-year medical students at the College of Medicine's Pensacola Regional Campus.

Dr. Chicola is board certified in otolaryngology and head and neck surgery. He is Chief of Otology and Chief of Pediatric Otolaryngology at Nemours Childrens Clinic. He has served on multiple committees and boards within the Medical Center Clinic and West Florida Hospital.
