Dr. Childers works with the College of Medicine Education Director in Surgery and the Orlando Campus Dean to implement the required surgery clerkship. It is his responsibility to recruit clerkship faculty, schedule rotations, and monitor student participation.

Dr. Timothy Childers was born and raised in Gainesville, Florida. He loves all sports; is a swimmer, golfer, and thoroughly enjoys his weekly game of pick-up basketball. Dr. Childers enjoys spending his spare time with family and friends. Dr. Childers is a member of Surgical Associates in Winter Park, Florida.
