Dr. Andree is the Pediatric Education Director for the FSU College of Medicine.
Biosketch
Dr. Andree serves a Professor in Clinical Sciences since 2022, and previously served as Associate Professor in Clinical Sciences since 2018, and Assistant Professor in Clinical Sciences since 2004 at the FSU College of Medicine. She also serves as President and CEO for Community Health Centers, Inc.(CHC), a Federally Qualified Health Care Center, with 16 locations offering primary care services in Central Florida. Prior to her appointment as the FSU College of Medicine Pediatric Education Director, Dr. Andree served as the FSU COM Pediatric Clerkship Director for the Orlando campus for four years. She practiced as a Pediatrician in Orlando at Community Health Centers where she has served for over 21 years. Prior to serving as a President and CEO, she has held roles as Chief Medical Officer and Vice-President, Chief of Pediatrics and Associate Medical Director with Community Health Centers, Inc. Past community faculty appointments include the Florida Hospital Family Medicine Residency Program and the Arnold Palmer Pediatric Residency Program.
Dr. Andree is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and has practiced as a Pediatrician in Orlando for over 21 years. She obtained a Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Miami School of Medicine and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Florida. She serves on the Florida Surgeon General’s Physician Workforce Advisory Council, United Healthcare’s National Advisory Board, and the Ginsburg Institute for Health Equity Advisory Board.
She has received multiple teaching awards and honors, including induction into the Gold Humanism Honor Society, and is a past National Health Service Corp member. Additionally, Dr. Andree has experience working with the National Committee for Quality Assurance Patient Centered Medical Home accreditation process, the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care, the Health and Resource Services Administration for Federally Qualified Health Care Clinics, the Federal Tort Claims Act certification process, and the Licensing Committee for Medical Education certification process. She also served as the Chair of the Quality Improvement Committee at Community Health Centers, Inc. and the Chair of the Chief Medical Officers Roundtable for the Florida Association of Community Health Centers (FACHC).
