Clerkship Director for Internal Medicine - Sarasota

Dr. Kennedy is responsible for coordinating the internal medicine clerkships for the third-year and fourth-year students at the Sarasota Campus. She also oversees the fourth-year electives in internal medicine.

Dr. Kennedy is a board-certified internist who has been practicing in Sarasota since 1988. Along with a solo practice, she has been involved in the medical staff leadership at Sarasota Memorial Hospital for 11 years, serving as chief of staff in 2000. She also has served as the medical director for the Sarasota Memorial Hospital Community Medical Clinic, which provides care to underprivileged residents of Sarasota County.
