Dr. Bridges coordinates the surgical curriculum and training of third- and fourth-year medical students assigned to the Fort Pierce Regional Medical School Campus.
Biosketch
Dr. Bridges is a general, thoracic and vascular surgeon. He formerly served as attending thoracic and vascular surgeon at Indian River Memorial Hospital, St. Lucie Medical Center and Raulerson Hospital, and also served as Chief of Surgery at Lawnwood Regional Medical Center. After 30 years of busy surgical practice, Dr. Bridges has transitioned to academics. Dr. Bridges and his wife, Myrna, have two children, daughter Dr. Kimberly Bridges and son Kenneth Bridges, II. Dr. Bridges is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He enjoys teaching and is committed to the training of future doctors.
