Martin Wood, MSLIS, AHIP is the Director of the Charlotte Edwards Maguire Medical Library at Florida State University. Martin is responsible for all aspects of the Maguire Medical Library, including oversight of scholarly communications, electronic resources, collection development, library systems, public services, outreach, research, and medical informatics education as they relate to the library.

With a diverse background in libraries, technology, education, government, and business over the past two decades, Martin has become a leader of digital medical libraries, and a staunch advocate for information at the point of need. He is also an outspoken advocate for people with diabetes, serving as former Editor in Chief of The PLAID Journal, and Faculty Advisor for Students With Diabetes @ FSU.
