Director of Admissions, Associate Professor

Main Campus

Tom Morgan is a member of the Principal Faculty in the School of Physician Assistant Practice. He is the Director of Admissions for the School of Physician Assistant Practice and the Course Director for the Physician Assistant Clinical Gross and Radiographic Anatomy course. Tom has worked as an industrial Research Scientist for Taxolog, Inc. in Tallahassee and also in the Experimental Therapeutics group at the Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa where he conducted translational research in human cancer biology for the optimization and individualization of cancer treatment regimens. He has conducted research at the College of Medicine and The National High Magnetic Field Laboratory where he introduced stem cell isolation techniques to the Levenson lab and has expanded into using nanotechnology modified stem cells for potential therapies in glioma and traumatic brain injury. He has recently been working on nicotine-induced epigenetic modifications of paternal germline DNA in the Bhide lab.

July 2007-January 30, 2009. Research Scientist in Lead Investigation Group. Taxolog, Inc. Development and screening of novel chemotherapeutic and vascular disrupting agents.
