The Senior Associate Clinical Education Director is a principal faculty member, in conjunction with a College of Medicine Clerkship Director, responsible for the administrative oversight of the clinical education phase of the FSU PA Program at the FSU COM Regional Campuses. In addition to the responsibilities of being the Associate Clinical Education Director at the FSU COM Daytona Beach Campus.

Ricardo Martin is the Senior Associate Clinical Education Director for the Florida State University College of Medicine PA program at Daytona Beach. He has worked for the FSU PA program since 2018. He has been in clinical practice for 11 years and has worked in the fields of Family Medicine and Emergency Medicine. Currently he works at the ER at Halifax Hospital in Daytona Beach as an ED PA where he has worked for the past 11 years. He is currently the Lead APP for the ER group and helps in the hiring, training and scheduling of the ER APPs at Halifax Health. He loves to teach clinically and has taken students from the University of Florida, Florida State University and High Point University to name a few. Before becoming a PA he was a high school science teacher and has always enjoyed teaching new students and through his career he has been a preceptor for PA students from various Universities. He is fluent in both Spanish and English.

University of Florida College of Medicine School of Physician Assistant Studies, Gainesville, Florida. Graduated in June 23rd 2012 with a degree in "Master of Physician Assistant Studies".

Harriet L. Wilkes Honors College of Florida Atlantic University, Jupiter, Florida. Graduated in May of 2009 with a degree in "Bachelor of Liberal Arts and Science with a concentration in Biology".

Works at Halifax Health Emergency Medicine Department. Volusia County's only community hospital system in the area.

Helps in the clinical training of PA students who do their Emergency Medicine rotation at Halifax Health from a variety of schools including UF, USF and FSU. 

Takes multiple pre-PA students throughout the year.
