Growing up in a town with limited access to health care taught me to value the work of those who uphold individual and public health. At a very young age, I developed a deep reverance and appreciation for physicians and knew that I wanted to make similar contributions to society and individual lives. As I continue to pursue this dream of mine, I know one thing for certain -- my childhood self would be proud.
