Dr. Alma Littles, senior associate dean for
academic affairs at the College of Medicine, has been recognized with a
Distinguished Service Award by the Florida Academy of Family Physicians (FAFP).

The College of Medicine’s involvement with senior
citizens works both ways. One example is the Senior Artist Project on
display at the main campus. The paintings come from individuals who belong
to the Tallahassee Senior Center for the Arts.

Dr. Christie Sain (Class of 2005) recently was
elected president of the Florida Academy of Family Physicians residents
section. She is a third-year resident in family medicine at Tallahassee
