In December, Reyes received recognition for her dedication when she was
named Health Care Worker of the Year by the Florida Title I Migrant
Education Program. In addition to her personal contribution, Reyes
continues to educate FSU undergraduates, graduate students and medical students
about the needs of migrant families by involving them in their care. Reyes,
director of the behavioral medicine curriculum and associate chair of the
department of medical humanities and social sciences, was honored at the
Annual Florida Migrant Education Conference in Orlando.
