large and enthusiastic group of supporters showed up to cheer for the FSU
College of Medicine Class of 2008 at its graduation ceremony May 17 at Ruby
Diamond Auditorium. Two days earlier, the 58 graduates were honored during
the Class of 2008 Awards Ceremony.

Student dancers and volunteers raised more than $400,000 through the 2008 Dance

College of Medicine's newest rural education site is expanding with the
addition of a full-time faculty member in Immokalee. Dr. Karimu
Smith-Barron, a pediatrician, will serve as clerkship director in
Immokalee while also seeing patients at the Isabel Collier Read Medical
Campus.
