The Fort Pierce regional campus shares a $5.8 million building with Indian
River College programs in surgical technology, medical assisting and
bioinformatics laboratories.
Medical students at the Daytona Beach campus recently moved into a $5
million, 17,000-square-foot facility which also houses Daytona Beach College
classrooms and the FSU Florida Center for Reading Research.
The first group of eight third-year students arrived at the Daytona Beach
and Fort Pierce campuses in July 2007. In late June each campus will receive
a new group of 14 third-year students with an expectation that the number
will increase to 20 in 2009 and thereafter.
