Three separate gifts totaling $10 million have enabled the College of
Medicine to establish the Isabel Collier Read Medical Campus in Immokalee,
the largest donor-funded initiative in the seven-year history of FSU’s
medical school.

an overcast and windy Saturday afternoon in December, third-year College of
Medicine student Uchenna Ikediobi took a walk along city streets in downtown
Ft. Pierce. Along the way she gained a greater understanding of ways in
which physicians might influence health care.
