The Capital Medical Society awarded first- and second-year College of Medicine students $40,000 in scholarships. The students have ‘not only a financial need but a desire to stay in Florida and practice medicine in Florida.'
Representatives from Dance Marathon and Children’s Miracle Network came to the College of Medicine with a check for $383,562.92 that will benefit children throughout Gadsden and Leon counties.
