Students to shine light on HIV/AIDS at Friday's vigil
In observance of World AIDS Day, the event will be led by student Eric Walker (pictured right). It is scheduled for 6 p.m. in the college’s atrium and will include HIV testing, educational booths, student performances and remarks.

Med student's research wins AMA award
Second-year medical student Tim Walsh spent his summer in Chicago conducting research to increase awareness of the HIV-prevention pill PrEP (Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis). He presented his findings at the American Medical Association Research Symposium in Orlando.
