On Match Day, fourth-year students found out which residency programs will be their next stop for medical training. They also got to witness a marriage proposal.
In the coming year, Professor Suzanne Harrison will lead the American Medical Women’s Association, an organization that “feels like home.”
Those are two of the qualities saluted in a prestigious award that the Florida Rural Health Association has given to Gail Bellamy.
And not just any day. Christie Alexander (M.D., ’05) was invited by Florida Senate President Joe Negron to represent family physicians on the opening day of the 2017 legislative session.
