At Saturday's commencement ceremony, the College of Medicine's medical alumni total increased to 1,255 as 108 brand new M.D.s walked across the stage of Ruby Diamond Auditorium. Ten Bridge students also received their master's degrees. Speakers included Michael Sweeney and Class President Mark Micolucci.
Civic, community and university leaders took part in a groundbreaking ceremony May 17 for FSU PrimaryHealthTM, the College of Medicine’s planned 10,000-square-foot primary-care health center. Expected to open in early 2019, the center will bring needed primary-care services to residents of southwest Tallahassee.
