| Shamarial Roberson, DrPH, serves as the President of Health and Human Services for Indelible Business Solutions and the founder of DSR Consulting & Management. In this role, she works to address the social determinants of health and advance health equity by leveraging multi-sector collaborations to bridge the gap between governmental agencies and communities. In her previous role as the Deputy Secretary for Health at the Florida Department of Health, she was a key player in the COVID-19 response and facilitated strategic collaborations with organizations serving populations at greatest risk for disproportionate outcomes. During her tenure with the Department, she spearheaded efforts to increase state health equity funding three-fold and oversaw implementation of new state legislation aimed at enhancing the Department’s infrastructure through increased staff capacity and collaboration and designation of Minority Health Liaisons in each of Florida 67 counties. |
