Legislature provides $125m in funding for FSU partnership with TMH

The funding will support the planning and construction of the FSU Health Science Tallahassee Center near the site of Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare. FSU and the College of Medicine are entering into a partnership with TMH to help the facility become an academic health center and the new science center building will be home to internal medicine and family medicine residency programs, as well as space to develp more clinical research opportunities. The building could one day be home to the College of Medicine's Tallahassee Regional Campus.

Dance Marathon at FSU raises $1.55m
|

Returning to an in-person event for the first time since the onset of the pandemic, Dance Marathon at FSU closed out its 27th annual event on March 6 by revealing it had raised $1.55 million for the UF Health Shands Children's Hospital - a designated Children's Miracle Network Hospital. About half the money will come back to the FSU College of Medicine for use in pediatric outreach programs that benefit children in Tallahassee and surrounding areas.
